Entrevista Parte 1

Es una entrevista que le hice a su manager por twitter.. yo se soy lo maximo :)

1. You are blowing up everywhere. Can you tell me a little bit about your inspiration

My musical inspirations are Eminem and a lot of Damien Rice, folcloric music and hip hop, my father used to make me listen to Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan but I, on myself used to listen to a lot of usa rap. As far as songwritting. My inspirations came from love, life and death, and viewing other peoples situations. Also a good story, myt own life expiriences.

2. For instance, your song "Small Bump", a song about losing a child- you sing it from your prespective, but it's actually about a firend?

Yeah... it was quite a difficult subject to tackle. I wrote it from their perspective. It was my prespective looking on them to begin with. It's quite a touchy subject, so I wrote it from the perspective of actually being a parent.

3. Your first single was obviously "The A Team". It's been geeting a lot of airplay in America. Can you tell me a little bit about how that song came about and the meaning behind it?

I did a gig at a homeless shelter, and it was about one of the women there. It's her story. Well, the song itself was written all about her story, so the song is about a drugaddicted homeless woman.

4. How did you got discovered?

I got discovered by doing a lot of shows and releasing a lot od}f independent E.P's. One of my independent E.P?s charted at number two. That built up quite a big fan base.

5. How did it all started? When did your music carrer became serious?

I'll say music became a prority when I had 16 years and left school and home. Thats when everything started, and three years behind everything started to work out.
